Ellie Goulding is getting married! She and Caspar Jopling announced their engagement the old-fashioned way — in the marriage section of the U.K’s The Times newspaper. The announcement read, “The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Herefordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midlands.” Ellie and Casper, a New York-based art dealer, have been dating for 18 months. The two may even have some royals on their guest list considering Ellie sang at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011, and the couple recently enjoyed a vacation to Jordan with Princess Beatrice in April.
N’SYNC’s Lance Bass lost the bid for the “Brady Bunch” house to an “anonymous Hollywood studio” after he tweeted a little too early about what he thought was his win, and he was really upset. He said, “I feel used but most importantly I’m hurt and saddened by this highly questionable outcome. I just hope it’s not demolished.” Well, Lance will be happy to know it won’t be demolished, and he actually feels a little better now that he knows who had the winning bid. The winning bidder has been revealed as Discovery Inc.’s HGTV network. Discovery CEO David Zaslav recently announced the news, along with the network’s plans to bring the home’s interior back to the 70s a la the iconic family sitcom. After finding out, Lance tweeted that he is a huge HGTV fan and would be “pretty upset if it were anyone else” who won the bid. Initially, Lance thought her was used as a pawn to drive up the asking price for the home, suggesting that the realtor “used” him to get more money from the studio. Glad to see everything is okay now. Maybe he’ll even get an invite from the studio.
We’re really hoping “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer is joking, but somehow, I don’t think he is. Kelsey admitted that he has his the name of his current wife – his fourth, by the way – tattoed in a very special place. Let’s just say it’s in a place that is intended to keep him in check so he won’t be tempted to cheat. Like, you probably wouldn’t even see it if he was wearing a Speedo. Intersetingly, Kelsey met his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh, while he was still married to his third wife, Camille Grammer of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Perhaps she should have suggested a tattoo…
It looks like love for “Handmaid’s Tale” actors Elisabeth Moss and Max Minghella – just not with each other. Elisabeth, who stars as Offred, was spotted big-time locking lips with a guy on the streets of NY during the wee hours of the night. And Max, who plays Nick on the show, has been spotted out and about in London with Elle Fanning. Even though the two are currently working the upcoming indie film “Teen Spirit” (he’s directing and she’s the lead), it seemed pretty clear with their arms around each other that their time together was not work related. Elisabeth had said just a few months ago that she was having trouble dating because of her intense work schedule for “Handmaid’s Tale,” among other projects, and she just didn’t have the time to make a lasting connection with anyone. Good thing the show is currently on break.
