Ariana Grande did a Carpool Karaoke segment with James Corden, but it didn’t go as smoothly as it could have. Ariana posted a picture of herself on Instagram in an arm-brace and bandaged hand and wrote, “Well, Mr. Corden, today is off to a wild start.” She wrote with the photo on Twitter, “But I LOVE my bandage it looks sick @JKCorden I’ll be ok one day.” When her fans asked what happened, she wrote, “You’ll see……it’s so …… stupid.” She really does seem to be okay and tweeted, “I love my bandage it’s so cool, I will miss it when I heal.” James didn’t mention Ariana’s injury but tweeted excitedly about her appearance, writing, “This has made my day. The #CarpoolKaraoke we just shot might be one of my favorite ever! I can’t wait for you to see it.” Ariana wrote, “That was the best night ever. thank you for such an intimate and special experience. it’s an honor to know u all. love n appreciate u.”
Mel B is finally a free woman, but it cost her. The Spice Girl and ex Stephen Belafonte finally ended their divorce battle, but not before a judge ordered Mel B to pay her ex $350,000 in legal fees. On top of that, Mel B is also responsible for paying Stepehen $5,000-a-month in child support for their six-year-old daughter Madison, and they both have to set aside $1 million from the sale of their home to pay for taxes that they owe. Both seemed happy to have this end. Stephen said after their final hearing, “I’m ecstatic – I’m going to Disneyworld. I got everything I wanted, and we could have settled this months ago. It’s such a relief that it’s finally over.” One thing he didn’t get was visitation rights to his 10-year-old step daughter, Angel, who is Eddie Murphy’s daughter. As for Mel B, she was pretty happy too, posting video of herself dancing. Also at the hearing, Judge Mark Juhas threw out the dueling restraining orders each tried to take out against each other, although they agreed to stay 200-yards away from each other, except at events and activities pertaining to their daughter. The agreement also has them splitting vacations and school holidays, and they agreed to not say anything bad about each other in front of their daughter. Let’s see if it lasts.
While we were all shocked when ABC cancelled “Roseanne” after Roseanne Barr’s now infamous tweet, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said that it was actually a long time coming. “We have had multiple instances with Roseanne, and certainly this tweet crossed the line that cannot be crossed,” she said. “ It was for us a sense of enough is enough and something had to be done.” She was glad, though, to be able to bring back the cast and most of the crew for “The Conners” – and it came together as quickly as “Roseanne” fell apart.
Congratulations are in order for Denise Richards. Charlie Sheen’s baby mama is joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” She’ll be with Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, and Dorit Kemsley for the upcoming ninth season. She says she’s excited about it because she’s a huge fan. She may not feel the same after she joins the show and becomes a target.
