Adrianne Haslet, who lost her left leg in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, underwent an 8-hour surgery where doctors basically had to put her back together. She said in a video that doctors “put in a bunch of metal plates and screws trying to rebuild because my entire left side was shattered” after being hit by a car this week. Adrianne doesn’t know if she can ever run again, and she is too afraid to ask doctors about it. Adrianne, who had been training for the 2019 Boston Marathon, has been an ispiration to many people for her positive outlook and her “never give up” attitude. We wish her all the best!
Police were called to “Dog the Bounty Hunter” stars Duane and Beth Chapman’s Colarodo home last month for a very strange reason. As we reported, Beth has been battling throat cancer again. According to sources, a man, who claimed to be a healer, showed up at their home unannounced on December 23. He apparently told Duane and Beth’s daughter he was there to “help her mother” and that he was “sent from God.” The man had three suitcases with him, so it seems he thought he’d be there for a while. They were about to send him away before police got there. A source said of the visitor,“He told Dog he’d been sent as a prophet from God and he could heal Beth — but he was super creepy.”
R. Kelly has reportedly claimed that he doesn’t know many of the women interviewed for“Surviving R. Kelly,” a six-part documentary about his past, which aired on Lifetime. He hasn’t watched any of the series, which he thinks was master-minded by people who’ve had it out for him since his career took off in the early ’90s. According to a source, “He’s going to sue everybody who had anything to do with this.” In the meantime, the Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney’s Office has opened an investigation into the allegations made against R. Kelly, and they have been reaching out to several survivors. Police are also looking for contact info for the other women who lived in the Atlanta home or for those who have direct knowledge of what happened in the home.
We previously reported that Winona Ryder pointed out that she and Keanu Reeves may actually have gotten married by a real priest in the film “Dracula.” Well, in a new interview, Keanu confirmed that director Francis Ford Coppola did, in fact, hire a real priest. He also said that Winona calls him “husband” now, explaining, “Once in a while, I’ll get a text: ‘Hello, husband.’” I call Keanu my husband sometimes too, but he just doesn’t know it.
