We told you before that a “well-connected Royal source” claimed that all the rumors about a feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton “overblown.” Well, just because they aren’t enemies doesn’t necessarily mean they’re friends… which could explain why Meghan and Prince Harry didn’t attend Kate’s birthday party last weekend. According to Daily Mail, Kate and Prince William’s celebrated her 37th birthday at their country home in Norfolk, England on January 6th. Prince George’s and Princess Charlotte’s godmothers were reportedly there, along with some other Middleton family friends, but not Meghan and Harry. Let’s face it – insiders may be saying the feud is being “played up,” but they’re not saying the Royal “Fab Four” doesn’t have their differences. But, of course, we also have to consider the fact that Meghan is pregnant, so that might have something to do with it.
Although it’s been rumored for months, the NFL has finally confirmed Maroon 5 will headline the Pepsi Super Bowl LIII halftime show, featuring special guests Travis Scott and Outkast’s Big Boi, who is from Atlanta, where the Super Bowl is being held. Before the official announcement, Billboard reported Travis only agreed to perform after the NFL made a $500,000 donation to an organization fighting for social justice. Travis later revealed the NFL would be making a donation to Dream Corps, an organization working on things like reducing jail populations and creating career opportunities for communities. He said, “I back anyone who takes a stand for what they believe in. I know being an artist that it’s in my power to inspire. So before confirming the Super Bowl Halftime performance, I made sure to partner with the NFL on this important donation. I am proud to support Dream Corps and the work they do that will hopefully inspire and promote change.” Superbowl LIII is set for Sunday, February 3rd at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
