94.7 WMAS Assistant


Thanks for your interest in The WMAS Assistant!  In the coming months, you will be able to use the WMAS Assistant to request any ad, offer, event, or contest and have it sent directly to your smartphone.  Remember or learn more about what you hear on 94.7 WMAS with the WMAS Assistant.


Step 1:  Open your Alexa App

Open your Alexa app on your smartphone, or if you don’t have the Alexa app yet, download it by clicking the link below:

Step 2: Find the WMAS Assistant Skill

Go to the skills section of the Alexa app and search for 94.7 WMAS Assistant.

At the Alexa App Home Page, tap on the ‘Menu’ icon at the top.

Search for the “94.7 WMAS Assistant” skill

Step 3: Enable the WMAS Assistant Skill

After tapping on the 94.7 WMAS Assistant skill, check on the skill detail page if the button displays ‘Enable’ or ‘Disable Skill’.  If the button is labeled ‘Enable’, tap it to enable the skill.  If the button is labeled ‘Disable Skill’, you have already enabled the skill.

Step 4. Request the $500 Prize Pack contest

After enabling the skill, simply make your first request to WMAS Assistant to qualify for the prize pack.  Either talk into your smart speaker (Echo device) or use your Alexa app by clicking the blue circle at the bottom of the home page:

Say, “Alexa, ask WMAS Assistant to send me information about the $500 prize pack.”

Alexa will ask you to go through two steps to link your smartphone to the WMAS Assistant, so you can receive information you request directly to your smartphone.  NOTE:  This is an entirely opt-in process.  You can always ‘Disable Skill’ to remove your account and linked phone number.  We only use your phone number to send you a text message for information you requested.

Once you finish linking your smartphone to WMAS Assistant, the $500 prize pack contest will be sent to you.  You will receive the text message with a link to the contest details.  Click the link to review the contest details and the special code you will need to provide if you are the lucky winner.
