Madonna's latest stalker, retired firefighter Robert Linhart, got sentenced on Wednesday to three years' probation for resisting arrest. The 61-year-old was convicted after being arrested twice back in September 2010 for stalking Madonna outside her Manhattan apartment. Police made an arrest on charges of graffiti after he defaced a sidewalk. A few days after being released, he returned to the same spot and got arrested for a second time, consequently charged and convicted, but only on a single count of resisting arrest.  As for sentencing, the judge said, "Mr. Linhart served with the New York City Fire Department for was order to attend anger management.

J.J. Abrams followed through on his promise to show a terminally ill man, identified only as '”Dan”, a private screening of “Star Trek into Darkness”, which isn’t due for release until May 17, 2013.  Dan’s friends had started an internet campaign so that Dan, a huge “Star Trek” buff, could get his final wish.  Dan, who has been suffering from two forms of cancer over the past three years, was recently informed that he has only weeks to live.  His grateful wife posted, "Hi everyone, it's Daniel's wife, we are of course sworn to secrecy, but we are officially allowed to say we saw it and we enjoyed it immensely as a film and as a gesture... Also, it was truly amazing that a filmmaker so secretive as JJ Abrams was kind enough to show this to us……We were so touched when [Abrams] was concerned that we wouldn't 100% enjoy the screening as it's still being worked on... Be assured we enjoyed it 110%!"  Kudos, J.J.!

Renee Zellweger has reportedly found love with a friend of more than two decades.  Renee has known 44-year-old guitarist Doyle Bramhall III since they studied together at the University of Texas in 1990.  They reportedly ran into each other in Los Angeles on numerous occasions, eventually striking up a romance last summer.  Renee usually dates high-profile guys – she was in a two-year relationship with Bradley Cooper, which ended in 2011 and her 2005 marriage to Kenny Chesney was annulled after four months. She was briefly engaged to Jim Carrey and has also previously dated legal correspondent Dan Abrams and musician Jack White.  Doyle’s claim to fame is dating Sheryl Crow.

A Jonas Brothers fan has sued the group after claiming she was crushed during one of the group's concerts by an over-enthusiastic crowd. Ashleigh Johnson filed the lawsuit, in which she claims she was at The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles back in May 2010 when she was pushed by an uncontrolled audience against a guard fence.  Ashleigh claims she was "agonizingly crushed" into the barrier and suffered severe mental, emotional and physical injuries as a result.  Ashleigh is suing the band as well as Caruso Management, who handles The Grove venue.  You really want to know how to make an area like that safe visit any kids play area and check out the padding in those places.
