Men's Health magazine has wasted no time naming the 100 Hottest Women of 2013. Admitting that its only criteria for ranking the list was how "smokin' hot" the women included are, Men's Health put Katy Perry at the top of the list, praising Katy's "ample rack," and the fact that she has a sense of humor about her "newsworthy DDs." But on a more serious note, the magazine also gives Katy credit for turning "a bad breakup" into material for hit songs, spending a year in the top 10 on the charts, having a Twitter following that's "four times the population of New York City" and scoring eight Grammy nominations by the age of 28. Katy's in good company: the rest of the top five includes Mila Kunis, Christina Hendricks, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jennifer Aniston.
“Grey’s Anatomy” star Patrick Dempsey confirmed that he won the bid for bankrupt Seattle-based Tully's Coffee. Patrick led a group of investors that pitched bids, with Starbucks among the main competition, but Patrick proudly posted, "We met the green monster, looked her in the eye, and...SHE BLINKED! We got it! Thank you Seattle!" So, why did he want to buy the coffee house? Patrick said he said he felt a connection, in part because his show is set at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital, and basically because he is looking to save jobs. Patrick said, "I think some of the players involved in this deal want to take those jobs away, and you're looking at an economy that's rough to get jobs.”
Bradley Cooper has broken up with his girlfriend, Zoe Saldana. A source said, "Zoe had planned to spend the holidays with Bradley and his family in Europe. They all were going to Paris, but things didn't work out between them. Zoe spent New Year's Eve with friends in Miami instead.”
"Bachelor" producers are suing "Reality Steve" Carbone again because he posted spoilers for the first five episodes of The Bachelor, which this season features Emily Maynard reject, Sean Lowe. Included in his post were the full names of the women eliminated from the competition. The producers say Steve continues "to seek confidential information from participants, cast, crew and other employees of The Bachelor Series” even after being told to stop last year as well. He faces a $10,000-per-violation penalty. Steve says his previous agreement did not prevent him from publishing spoilers and says he may counterclaim.
"Star Wars" creator George Lucas asked his longtime girlfriend Mellody Hobson, to marry him. The two have been dating for over seven years. This is the second marriage for George and the first marriage for Mellody. George recently sold Lucasfilm Ltd., to Disney for $4.05 billion. George then announced that he would donate all proceeds from the sale to an educational foundation. I hope he saved some cash for a nice reception. I can see it now – R2D2 is the ring bearer with C3PO officiating and Chewbacca giving the bride away as all the Ewoks cheer.
