Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne had a scare Thursday morning when they discovered the living room in their Beverly Hills home was on fire. The couple had accidentally left a candle burning overnight. Sharon said she woke up to a sound, and then, "my eyes are stinging and my throat's closing up. Something weird smelling in here, then my dogs started to bark..." Sharon found the candle had burst into flames and "the cracking sound was the glass in the candle holder exploding." Sharon doused the flames with water while firemen arrived on the scene around 5 a.m. before the blaze got out of control.
Lance Armstrong admitted he didn't think he could compete if he didn't turn to doping because doping was so pervasive in cycling. Lance said, "I didn't invent the culture, but I didn't try to stop the culture." Lance said he rationalized his use of testosterone because one of his testicles was removed in his fight against cancer. He said, "I thought, 'Surely, I'm running low (on testosterone).”
Lance also admitted to mistreating people as he tried to preserve the cover-up, adding, "Yeah, I was a bully." Not only did he attack those who told the truth about him, he sued them when they did. At one point, when Oprah asked him if he had sued Emma O'Reilly, a former team masseuse who told of his doping, he said he wasn't sure and added, "To be honest, Oprah, we sued so many people.” I’m guessing there will be plenty of law suits now coming his way.
Michael Jackson's dermatologist, Dr. Arnie Klein, has put himself back in the spotlight again by posting a photo of Michael's son, Prince Jackson, on his Facebook page, along with a photo of himself at that age with the caption, "hmmmmm". People have been saying for years that Dr. Klein provided the sperm that fathered Prince and Paris. Prince's mother, Debbie Rowe, was Dr. Klein’s medical assistant back when Michael was a patient, but she's never spoken publicly about the identity of the father and even back then, Dr. Klein has said, "To the best of my knowledge, I am not the father of these children." Why the push now?
Remember at the Golden Globes, when Tina Fey told serial dater Taylor Swift to “stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son,” Sam (Mr. Golden Globe)? Well, Michael was recently asked with he would think if Sam and Taylor started dating. He replied, “No. No … Just back off…. “I don’t keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?.... What a way to build a career.” And then when asked what he would do if Sam brought her home one night, Michael said, “I wouldn’t even know who she was.” I’m sure it would dawn on him after the breakup song hit the radio.
