Lady Gaga tweeted congratulations to Justin Bieber who has finally passed her as the most followed person on Twitter. At the time of this report, Justin had over 33,346,000 followers while Lady Gaga had 33,339,000. It could be that her Little Monsters take this news as a challenge and try to close that 7,000 follower gap. "So proud of @justinbieber and all the Beliebers!" she tweeted. "I'm only happy to see your fans growing in size, you all deserve it! Monsters support you!"
The fact that Adele has managed to keep her baby son's name a secret is quite remarkable. But her jewelry may have just spilled the beans for her. Adele was recently photographed shopping in L.A., and she was wearing a gold necklace that spells out the name "Angelo" in tiny letters. Adele's boyfriend is named Simon, her dog is Louis and her dad, who she doesn't have a relationship with anyway, is named Mark, so "Angelo" just may be the name of the baby, who was born in October.
Well, the cat is out of the bag that Beyonce lip-synched the national anthem at Monday's presidential inauguration, and the band was prerecorded as well. Aretha Franklin defended Beyonce’s decision to do so. She said, "I thought it was funny because the weather down there was about 46 or 44 degrees and for most singers that is just not good singing weather. When I heard that I just really cracked up. I thought it was really funny, but she did a beautiful job with the pre-record...next time I'll probably do the same." However, Aretha says she didn't think about lip-syncing when she performed "My Country 'Tis of Thee" during Barack Obama's first inauguration four years ago, on a bitterly cold day in Washington, D.C. She says, "I wanted to give people the real thing and pre-recording never crossed my mind." And that’s why she’s the Queen of Soul.
